Tonight, Donald Trump’s handpicked candidate John Sununu became the Republican Party’s U.S. Senate nominee. While Trump is celebrating Sununu’s primary win, Granite Staters are struggling to keep up with higher costs across the board under Trump’s economy.

  • John Sununu confirmed he would’ve voted for Trump’s Big Ugly Bill that failed to stop insurance premiums from going through the roof and is kicking thousands of Granite Staters off Medicaid just to fund tax breaks for the ultrawealthy. 
  • Sununu said Republicans “did the right thing” by cutting Medicaid and threatening additional cuts to Medicare, even though those cuts closed a Franconia health care center and are undermining New Hampshire’s health care system.

Sununu Was Caught in a Lie Denying His Attendance at a World Economic Forum Event that Jeffrey Epstein Referenced in an Email

  • After John Sununu’s name was included in an email from Jeffrey Epstein to an associate of his, Sununu falsely denied visiting Doha, Qatar, where the World Economic Forum event that Epstein referenced was held. 
  • Sununu was photographed at the event and has been called out by both sides of the aisle — including by his primary opponent Scott Brown and U.S. Representative Ro Khanna — for not coming clean on the issue. 
  • Sununu has also accepted tens of thousands of dollars from wealthy Epstein associates, and he recently campaigned with a Trump campaign co-chair who was suspended from his job over a relationship he had with a 15-year-old girl while he was a grown adult.
