Qatar Airways Flights Suspension Continues

(MENAFN) Qatar Airways confirmed Tuesday that its flight operations remain at a standstill following the continued closure of Qatari airspace, with no immediate timeline for resumption.

The carrier stated: "Qatar Airways will resume operations once the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority announces the safe reopening of Qatari airspace."

"A further update will be provided on 04 March by 09:00 Doha time (06:00 UTC)," the airline added.

The suspension is not new — Qatar Airways first grounded its operations on February 28, subsequently extending the halt multiple times as a series of explosions rocked the Qatari capital, Doha, amid the escalating US-Israeli military campaign against Iran.

The airline's next scheduled update is set for Wednesday morning, leaving thousands of travelers in limbo as regional instability continues to paralyze one of the world's busiest aviation hubs.
